Local News: Spring is just around the corner! We've still got some time before summer arrives but it's sure nice to know it's coming!!

"THE LASTEST NEWS"

Well I've got some catching up to do; first, I'd like to thank all the people that made our safaris and workshops a success this year starting with the great folks at Redoubt Mountain Lodge back home in Alaska. Our September 2012 safari couldn't have been better, well the weather could have cooperated a little more, but the bears and eagle were everywhere and lots of spring cubs and great fall colors!! Next, getting the new year off to a great start, was our annual safari to Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. Costa Rica was just named the #1 wildlife destination in Foxnews.com's travel section! Once again the owner's and staff at both Lookout Inn and Bosque Del Cabo were the absolute best. I can't say enough about how at home I feel during our visits. Check out below as we've got big news about our Costa Rica Photo Safari's. And last but not least, our Winter Wildlife Workshop at the Triple D Game Farm. This year the participants got to see and photograph 2 of the rarest big cats in the world; an Amur and Snow Leopard. The professionalism and attention to detail of all the staff at Triple D make this workshop a great experience for everyone. I look forward to working with them in the future. We're now taking reservations for our 2014 Costa Rice Photo Safari and Rainforest Extension! For 2014 we've got something new, a 5-day photo safari in January and a 4-day safari in June. I've always wanted to head down during the green season and take advantage of all the blooms and babies, especially the flocks of scarlet macaws! Our January Photo Safari begins at Lookout Inn on January 14th. The Safari is scheduled for the 14th through the 18th with a morning departure on the 19th. And if that's not enough we're heading back to Bosque Del Cabo Rainforest Lodge for a 3-day photo safari extension from the 19th through the 21st departing on the morning of the 22nd!

NEW! Our June Safari, "Macaws, Frogs and Much Much More" will be entirely at Lookout Inn from June 12th through the 15th, departing mid-morning on the 16th. If you've ever wanted to really work the frogs of Costa Rica, including the famous Red-eyed Green Tree Frog check this safari out! Another big thank you goes out to our new friends at the Triple D Game Farm right here in Kalispell Montana! For 2014 we've again teamed up with Triple D to offer a 3-day Winter Wildlife Workshop featuring their amazing wildlife models. These are some of the same animals you see on many of the wildlife shows on Animal Planet and Nat Geo. We're excited to announce that we'll be offering our 3nd annual Winter Wildlife Workshop at Triple D February 20th, 21st &22nd with an optional date the 23rd of 2014. We'll get those dates up as soon as the details are finalized. Check out the images from this years workshop in the header to see what's possible!!! NEW! This year we're pleased to announce we'll be joining Triple D for their annual road trip in April. This year's trip will take them to the Seirra foothills just outside Mariposa, California. Each year Triple D offers a number of 3-day photo session in different part of the country. This year I'll be the guest pro during wildlife photo session #3, April 10th, 11th & 12th, and Ranch Session #1, April 9th. And our premiere photo safari, The Alaska Wilderness Experience Photo Safari held each year at Redoubt Mountain Lodge. This Safari features the amazing Alaska Brown Bear and all the mystique that is the "Last Frontier". Our 2012 safari had some of the best bear photography I can remember with lots of spring cubs and interaction between adults! The 2013 safari is September 20th through the 24th. Along with the Alaska Wilderness Experience Photo Safari, we are now accepting reservations for our 2013 trekking with the mighty Alaskan Moose.
